Tried this restaurant for the first time before a concert at Blaisdell. They have a tasting menu of 4 courses for $39, but you can also order off the menu with prices ranging from $16 to $29. I tried the tasting menu which included quail and greens as first course, scallops and prawns as second course, veal cheeks as third course and lemon tart for dessert. All were excellently prepared with unique sauces. My least favorite was the veal cheeks, not quite what I expected after trying L'Uraku's version.
My husband had veal with mashed potatoes and greens. It was also excellent. He had creme brulee for dessert and it was just ok.
This is a BYOB restaurant. They don't have a liquor license but happy to pour your wine with no additional charge. Worth a try. The rack of lamb is supposed to be first rate, so I'll check it out next time.
